Peace Initiative Bhutan is a newly formed nonprofit whose mission is to promote peace and happiness through compassion, non-violence, and respect, inspiring individuals and building a harmonious Bhutanese society through education, research, and community engagement. Global Citizens Circle has been working with the young leaders of PIB supporting their initiative and helping to connect them to those who have experience in peace building. In March 2023, Global Citizens Circle invited a group of the young women leaders of PIB to attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women conference, giving them access to women from around the world gathered for discussions and workshops on critical global issues.
