International Delegation To Cuba: Making Community Work

Through the leadership of our co-chair, Jack Dunfey, Global Citizens Circle has been engaged in reaching out to the Cuban community for over 20 years. In creating a diverse international delegation, we are extending our circle of family to Cuba. Our theme, Making Community Work, reflects our conviction that the way to constructive change is paved when diverse communities interact, support, and better understand one another. During our visit, we met with key Cuban community leaders to exchange opinions and experiences of making community work through education and technology, arts and culture, health care systems, and religion.
